New Rob Interview with Reuters

"Breaking Dawn - Part 2," released this week, is the fifth and final in the series, and Edward's character shifts from brooding, tormented lover to a contented husband and father who must protect his family from an ancient vampire clan.

But Pattinson, 26, still has those rakish good looks that drew a screaming fan base and made him a tabloid fixture. While the avid fan excitement around the "Twilight" series overwhelms him, the British actor hopes his audience will follow him as he moves on.

"It's all about control. Now, I don't feel like I have any control whatsoever," he told Reuters with a laugh.

"They're a very ardent fan base, so to figure out a way to harness that vehement audience, it's definitely an important thing."

Pattinson became a pinup as the angst-ridden Edward, but said he wasn't worried he might be typecast as the perpetual brooding hero. "I'm not particularly brooding in my real life," he said.

The actor has already been laying the ground for a career beyond "Twilight." He played a 19th century French gigolo in "Bel Ami" and a billionaire with an existential crisis in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis," although both films fared poorly at the box office earlier this year.

More of Kristen's Interview with Speakeasy

Speakeasy recently chatted with the 22-year-old actress about her career after “Twilight” and her other new movie, an adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel “On the Road,” directed by Walter Salles and co-starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kirsten Dunst, among others.

Stewart said she first read “On the Road” when she was a freshman in high school and was taken with its cast of characters, many of whom are wild creative types, searching for inspiration, love and meaning. “And I read that and I was like ‘I need to find people like that. I need to find people that I want to run after,’” she said. “I think that it’s rare, those people aren’t very common.”

The novel, Stewart said, still resonated with her as an adult. She said she was drawn to people who had a youthful exuberance, no matter how old they were.

“Most of the people that I want to run after that I really admire, they don’t lose that, I mean, they’re not all my age, they’re a lot older than me,” Stewart said. “It starts when you’re young, but as soon as you view that as like a youthful thing, what have you done with your life? Do you know what I mean? You should probably hold on to that.”

More than 100 guitars bearing the signatures of rock, pop and country stars including Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Tom Morello, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney will be auctioned Dec. 1 to benefit the Dio Cancer Fund established in memory of hard rock singer Ronnie James Dio.

The instruments will be previewed Nov. 19 at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, where they will be auctioned two weeks later.

Other artists who have signed donated guitars include members of Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Metallica and the Alice Cooper Band. The guitar signed by Van Halen is a prototype electric made for him. The auction also includes a custom hand-carved Ronnie James Dio memorial guitar made by DBZ Guitars and an acoustic-electric guitar signed by “Twilight” film series star Robert Pattinson.

The preview will run from 3 to 5 p.m. and will be attended by Dio’s widow, Wendy Dio, and Gloria Butler, chairman of the Dio Cancer Fund, which was created after the 2010 death from cancer of Dio, the onetime lead singer of Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Dio. Some musicians who donated instruments also are expected to be on hand.

Julien’s is at 9665 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills. More details are available at Julien's website.

Ben Affleck Talks About Kristen

Kristen Stewart may be "desperate" to get some new work now that Twilight is coming to an end, but she's going to be just fine, thankyouverymuch.

In fact, it does sound like Ben Affleck is itching to work with her in Focus, a romantic comedy from Crazy Stupid Love directing duo John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.

It was reported by Variety earlier this month that K. Stew was in talks to costar as a young woman Affleck's character, a veteran grifter, meets in his travels.

We asked Affleck for an update when we caught up with him the other night at the GQ Men of the Year party at Chateau Marmont.

"I'm hesitant to get into casting stuff because I don't know what's finished or isn't because people come in and out of things all the time," he said. "But she's terrific and hopefully it will work out."

Fingers-crossed.

Fashion Designer, Julien Macdonald, Talks About Kristen

Julien Macdonald has spoken exclusively to Grazia Daily about his reaction to seeing Kristen Stewart wearing his demure creation in Madrid today. So what’s his verdict? ‘I think the styling was perfect, she kept it quite simple with tousled hair and a classic pair of black heels,’ he told us.

‘Kristen is an actress who never gets it wrong on the red carpet and she lets the clothes speak for themselves whilst keeping them looking modern and cool.’ And are you a Twilight fan, Mr Macdonald? ‘I’m a big fan of Twilight – I have liked it since the beginning and am so sad to see it come to an end!’ Hear, hear.

‘Kristen Stewart is one of my favourite actresses of the moment and it’s an honour to dress her for the red carpet.’ Of course, it’s an incredible feeling for the London-based designer to see any of the world’s style-setters donning his dresses. ‘It inspires me to create more collections and push myself more and more,’ Macdonald says. ‘I’m lucky to have dressed a wide range of celebrities and VIPs who are great role models to others and who are often watched for their style choices.’

New Kristen interview with LA Times - She talks about Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and BD1

Kristen Stewart wishes she was better in "New Moon" and acknowledged that if she's being really honest, she "didn't love" "Eclipse." As the star of "The Twilight Saga" since its inception in 2008, Stewart has been at the forefront of the lucrative vampire franchise throughout its five movies.

Along the way, she's worked with four different directors, battled the ever-present media scrutiny and learned how to handle a fervent fan base that has very specific ideas on how Stephenie Meyer's beloved books should be translated onto the big screen.

When Stewart looks back on the movies, she has varying thoughts about each of them.

On "Twilight": "What I remember the most about the first one is sitting with Rob [Pattinson] in a room tearing our hair out over the script. We were getting notes from the studio incessantly. Every day. I now love everybody but then I was like ‘Don’t you dare say anything to me.’ It was such a fight. And it’s so much fun to fight. That’s my thing. It’s great."

Zuhair Murad Talks About Kristen

Zuhair Murad is the designer to turn to for look-at-me gowns—he’s close with Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift, for example—which is why were pleased to see Kristen Stewart choose one of his pieces for her last Hollywood Twilight premiere this week, a nude strapless gown with lace and chiffon paneling and a corseted bodice. “I’m a big fan of Kristen, and was very happy to see her in this particular gown for her Twilight premiere,” the designer told InStyle.com exclusively. “The mysterious and daring aura she exudes in the film matches the design inspiration behind this gown perfectly.”

Jules Stewart's Interview with Italian Vanity Fair Scan

Jules mentions Kristen and Rob.

Translation thanks to CSI_Robsten

Bella's mom takes up cinema and debuts as a director. But when asked if her daughter's heart still beats for Pattinson, she cryptically answers "do you remember a story about us?"

They say that, looking at his mother-in-law, a man will know how his wife will be. Well then, Robert Pattinson can consider himself lucky, Jules Stewart is an icon lady.
Mama Stewart isn't the only Stewart involved in the movie. In the cast there's also the first-born Cameron, and it seems that the star of the family, too, Kristen, made her contribution. What is her role then? At a first screening, it's virtually impossible to recognize her, so keep reading to find it out.

- Did you ask your daughter to play in your movie?
"She would have loved it, but she was busy doing On The Road when we were shooting, she does have a little cameo, though. Hers is the voice of the secretary Raymond speaks over the phone to."

- And it was your son's debut. What was it like?
"It was better that I'd expected. He was very helpful and he very well managed to come out of his comfort zone."

- Is it true that he told you 'if my sister can do it [being an actor] I can, too'?
[laughs] "Yeah, they're very close and always joke."

- Your daughter has been acting since she was 9, will there be another actor in the family?
"I don't know, but I've never interfered with their choices anyway."

- neither about love?
"No."

- Aren't you jealous your daughter is now a woman and has a famous boyfriend?
"No, on the contrary. She's very much in love and it's great. Everyone should be."

- What's your relationship with Pattinson?
"I like him, we get along. But I keep myself out of their relationship."

- You must give Kristen some advice, though
"Oh course I do when she asks for it, but I never impose my opinion."

- When they broke up in July (after those pictures of her and Rupert kissing) what did you tell her?
"We had a long conversation which I'm not going to share."

- Where did the idea of your movie come from?
"A boy who went to that jail told me he'd want to write a screenplay about the K-11 area, so we started to work together."

- What was the hardest scene to shoot?
"Shooting a scene with 65 people in one room, which made it a bit claustrophobic. Being in jail is basically like living in a box where there's no privacy."

- What is the message of the movie?
"That it's okay to be different."

- Does that mean that even the most adrift characters are good?
"Yes. The charachters of K-11 represents the emotions, the anger, the regrets and love of every human being."

- What is it like to work in a business that is full of men?
"We may have more difficulties but we're now coming out with our creative side. The men I worked with were happy to listen to other points of view."

- You have divorced your husband John after 27 years of marriage. What is it like to be a middle-aged single woman?
"I don't want to define myself on the fact I have or don't have a man. I feel very strong. I can be by myself and be who I want."

New Rob, Kristen and Taylor Interview with EuroNews from BD2 LA Press Junket

Rob: "It's strange to think, you know, to suddenly in the last movie of the series ... to have such a massive shift in what edward gets to be concerned about cause he's spent the first 4 movies thinking about Bella and then he realizes :'I actually have the ablilty to change my life completely.' So that was quite exciting. That was definitely something new to play with."

New Rob, Kristen and Bill Condon Interview with Washington Post

LOS ANGELES — Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson sit side by side on a sofa at the Four Seasons hotel, discussing the end of the five-film project that made them famous and brought them together.

“Twilight” rocketed both to superstardom, and their real-life romance only propelled them further. With Friday’s release of the final film in the franchise, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2,” the young actors bid farewell to the worldwide fantasy sensation, but not to the tabloid attention they garner wherever they go.

The pair finish each other’s sentences during a recent interview as they talk about how much their lives have changed since the first “Twilight” movie was released in 2008.

“After the first one, I mean, it’s a different world you’re living in,” says Pattinson, 26.

“Also, we’re at that stage of life when things are shifting anyway,” adds Stewart, 22, who was just 17 when she first played Bella Swan.

Global fame makes growing up challenging, they say, acknowledging they’ve become more insular.

“It’s a really weird thing because you kind of have to hide,” Pattinson says, “and hiding really destroys the thing which, for one thing…”

New Rob and Kristen Interview with Buzzine from BD2 LA Press Junket

Robert Pattinson

Emmanuel Itier: I’m sure after over four years of filming and five films, you never thought this day would come. The Twilight Saga is coming to a close. For all intents and purposes, the characters are going out with a bang in this epic finale. What is it about the story of Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that is different from the films that have come before?

Robert Pattinson: Yeah, there's a bunch of different stuff. It's kind of... having a kid for one thing, it's very, very different. I know when I signed on to the movies, I'd only read the first three books, and I would never have said in the fourth one they'd have a kid who also grows to be an 11-year old within about three months, and that Jacob would fall in love with her as well! [Laughs] I mean, it's completely crazy. But yeah, that and doing kind of the vampire sex stuff… it's all pretty crazy.

EI: We’ve heard that you and Kristen had to act out your sex scenes in first person, looking directly at the camera. It’s a pretty intimate way to shoot that sort of scene. Was that an off-putting experience for you?

RP: Yeah, we were, like, by ourselves half the time. There was just with the cameraman, and we're sort of sitting there trying to look sexy. But I haven't seen the movie yet, so I don't know how it turned out.

EI: In terms of the final product, how do you feel about the arc your character has taken over these five films? You’ve taken Edward, a now iconic character in teen lit and teen film, and carried him through different stories and personal changes. Are you happy with the way your character evolved and how the series concludes?

RP: Yeah. I mean I always kind of thought… I mean, what I was trying to set up for his character arc from the first one was, he's kind of fossilized at the beginning, and then he meets Bella and she cracks him open. He suddenly starts to feel for the first time in 80 years and then spends the rest of the movies kind of catching up to normal people, and then becomes kind of a normal guy at the end. [Laughs] It feels like quite a complete journey, I think.

EI: And how has this entire experience changed you? What do you see as being the biggest change within yourself, over the course of the last five films?

RP: I think I was kind of obsessed with being tortured at the beginning, feeling... to be an artist, you have to be so confused and in pain all the time. And I think, as I got older, I gradually learned to not be like that as much. It may not be a good thing, though! [Laughs]

EI: Twilight became an overnight phenomenon, and since the first film’s release, more teen fantasy novels have been adapted for the big screen. Do you feel at all responsible for creating this new genre?

RP: I don't know. It is funny that... Because when Harry Potter came out, it didn't seem like every other young adult series was being made into a movie. When Twilight came out, you cannot find a young adult trilogy which is not being made into a movie anymore, or a TV series. But I don't really think it's to do with me; it's definitely [Stephanie] Myers.

EI: After being tied to such a huge project for so many years, do you feel a sense of freedom now, to do anything you want? What’s coming up next for you?

RP: I don't know if you feel "free." I mean I've been really lucky in the jobs I've got for next year. I'm doing another movie with David Cronenberg which is going to be cool, and I'm working Werner Herzog as well, and in January doing this movie called The Rover, with David Michôd. I've never done a movie which is incredibly violent before, and it's very, very, very violent.

Kristen Stewart

Emmanuel Itier: Though you’ve carried on a very diverse career outside of the Twilight films, there’s no denying that this franchise has been a huge part of your life. This last film must be very special to you – what was unique about filming this last piece of the Bella Swan/Edward Cullen puzzle?

Kristen Stewart: I guess the biggest difference in making the last Twilight was the ease at which it all sort of flowed out. Having played human Bella along the way the entire time and making the change, you know, the jump into vampire land, it didn’t feel like a change; it just sort of felt like the next, very natural step.

Also, because everything is sort of… every question in her mind and in her heart has been put to rest. Now, the imposing danger is really just coming from the outside, whereas before, there was major inner turmoil. So now, to play her as such an assured, very sort of stand-up person, it was just a little bit less stressful, even though the movie is chock full of milestone moments, with just, like… the wedding, and the birth, and all of those. They happened so naturally that, yeah, it was just a lot of fun.

EI: You finally get to play around with vampire stunts with the rest of the cast. Did you find those particularly challenging or difficult?

KS: I loved doing all the fight stuff. It was fun doing action that wasn’t just 100% perilous. Usually, Bella is just in a lot of danger and taking a lot of hits and falling down and running away, and this was all about running towards what you were fighting. And that was fun because I got to sit around and watch everybody else do it for ages. [Laughs]

The love scene was interesting. Bill [Condon] had said that he wanted the experience to be very shared, that he wanted it to feel like you were kind of inside of it. And to do that, he had us do our close-ups directly into camera, and you can see yourself. Instead of looking at Rob, I was looking at my ridiculous sexy face. I don’t think that they used many of those shots, to be honest. It was pretty awkward. But yeah, it was good, I think… hopefully.

EI: There’s no denying that the Twilight series has been incredibly influential in the movie business. After the success of your franchise, we’re seeing other young adult fantasy series coming to the big screen. What do you think about this new sub-genre that you and the rest of the Twilight team have created?

KS: It’s great what the fan base has done just in terms of acknowledging that there is definitely a gap to be filled. You know, people only want to make movies in Hollywood if they’re guaranteed to be successful, and now they’ve proven that they exist and that’s fantastic. It’s important to take youth seriously. I don’t know; I think that makes for much more well-rounded adults. Yeah, it’s cool.

EI: Lastly, on the tail end of promoting the very last Twilight film, what do you think has been the biggest change within yourself? How have you grown with the series, and what has it given you?

KS: Well, it’s been, like, five years. I think at the end of any five-year experience, you’re going to see a difference between who you were and who you are. But at the same time, I feel very much like Bella in that I haven’t changed aspects of who I am; I’ve just sort of gotten to know them better and I can use them. I can actually, like, really utilize what I’ve got rather than trying to figure out exactly what your tools are. I mean you get a little bit older and you really realize what you want, and so it’s easier to go and get it.

New Kristen Interview with Coventry Telegraph

Kristen Stewart has revealed that she has no regrets about signing up to the Twilight franchise - and says they didn't even think the first film would do well enough to get a sequel.

The 22-year-old - who reprises her role as Bella in the final instalment, Breaking Dawn Part 2 - has been the focus of tabloid attention, due to her on-off relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson and is constantly chased by paparazzi and the films' fans (aka Twi-hards).

"There have been some heavy moments obviously but I would trade nothing," she said.

"It's such a strange job; you need to be a little crazy, you need to be a little obsessive.

"Also being so young it's really rare. How often do people find what really genuinely challenges them in life at this age? I get so much more time to do what I love than most people do."

The actress, who will attend the film's UK premiere tonight with co-stars Robert and Taylor Lautner, added: "I started [acting] when I was 10 years old so I definitely wouldn't trade anything."

Kristen, who was 17 when she was cast in the first Twilight film in 2007, admitted they never knew that the series would become such a huge phenomenon.

"We didn't even know a sequel was possible. It genuinely wasn't the goal," she recalled.

"It definitely had a following but I think we all imagined it was fairly cult-ish. And then when it suddenly took like wildfire, it actually made sense.

"It's not like it was expected but it was like if anything was going to do it then it made sense it was this."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is released on November 16.
