Robert Pattinson turns 25: A look at 25 of his best magazine covers

Yesterday was the twenty-fifth birthday of the one and only Robert Pattinson (“Edward Cullen” in the Twilight Saga), so to celebrate the occasion, here is a look at twenty-five of Pattinson’s best magazine covers to-date.

The fact that he even has twenty-five plus covers to pick through really says something about the steam his career has picked up over the past few years.

Right now, Pattinson is among the Twilight-related nominations for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, and he recently expressed his desire to take home the “Best Kiss” award with co-star Kristen Stewart for the third year in a row.

To MTV News, he explained, “I don’t know. I mean – I thought I won it three times? Did I win it three? It’s kind of terrifying if you suddenly stop winning it, you’re like, ‘Oh God!’ It’s almost worse than if you stop winning, like, acting awards or whatever. If you can’t kiss anymore, it’s like, ‘What? I’m still good at kissing!’”

Kristen Stewart Talks About Some Of Her Favourite Things

Kristen Stewart has recently commented on some of her likes and influences:

One of my favourite actresses is Jodie Foster. I think this has a lot to do with me starring in my first movie with her. I watched her a lot on set. Jodie is not the kind of person to give advice, but she was definitely a strong influence on me.”

Kristen’s influences don’t only come from her professional peers, she also is a huge music fan and admits her favourite artists have had an effect on her.

She added: “I’m a bit of an old soul when it comes to my musical tastes. My all-time favourite song is ‘Madame George’ by Van Morrison. That song never gets old to me. There’s something comforting and raw about it.”

“”We shot most of the Twilight series in Vancouver. I fell in love with it – it’s such a beautiful city. I found the climate so different from what I’m used to in Los Angeles.

“The air is clean and fresh and there are beautiful mountain views everywhere. But I didn’t get to go out as much as I would have liked.”

Another firm favourite location of Stewart’s was Italy – thanks to the food.

“When we shot Twilight: New Moon in Italy, I tried all different kinds of pasta dishes – Alfredo, fettuccine with cream, basil and Romano cheese and gnocchi with seafood. I suddenly took an interest in cooking. It was amazing. It’s now my favourite cuisine,” she said.”

EXCLUSIVE: Now that 'Thor' opened strongly around the world, its star Chris Hemsworth is one hot Aussie hunk. He's just closed a deal for the good guy role as the Huntsman opposite Twilight Saga starlet Kristen Stewart as Snow White in Snow White And The Huntsman which is Universal's version of the fairy tale that also stars Charlize Theron. Rupert Sanders is directing. Newcomer Hemsworth and his good looks allowed for heavy PR to drum up appeal for Thor among women with his shirtless clip a popular choice for talk shows with large female audiences. He's repped by WME and ROAR management partner and co-founder William Ward who talent-spotted Chris during one of the manager's many scouting trips to Australia. Ward brought him to Los Angeles and really put him out there to casting directors and production executives. Chris read for the part of Thor but wasn't given a test because a casting director had nixed him early on. Chris' younger brother Liam (who's also a ROAR client) then tested for the role of Thor, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige passed. Then, after a conversation with Ward ("You've got to reconsider Chris, he's your guy"), Feige decided to let Chris read again. And once Marvel put him on tape, it was "Oh my god". Hemsworth is in Joss Whedon's UA-orphaned Cabin In The Woods which just got picked up by Lionsgate, is the lead in that Red Dawn remake, and played "George Kirk" in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot. Down under, he played "Kim Hyde" on 171 episodes of Home and Away, the successful Oz TV series where Heath Ledger started.

Everyone's favorite heartthrob officially reaches quarterlife status today on this glorious worldwide holiday known as Robert Pattinson's birthday.

So is the actor in the midst of his mid-twenties crisis yet, and what should Rob do differently now that he is a full-fledged adult legally able to rent a car?!

Kiss his girlfriend in public! (More than once.)

OK, we got the paparazzi shots of Robsten's infamous smooch following the NYC premiere of Water for Elephants, but now it's time for Rob to take it to the next level and plant a big wet one on Kristen Stewart when they accept (yeah, we're calling it now) the award for "Best Kiss" at the MTV Movie Awards next month.

That's what a real man would do, Rob, none of that pretend stuff you and Kris gave us last time you won the award. Now that you are 25 and your gal just turned the ripe legal age of 21, we expect to see some more adult antics out of the two of you!

Including, say, accompanying your girlfriend to her premieres and events?

But you're on the right path! Love that you two met up in Toronto last week to play house as you prepare to shoot Cosmopolis. So domesticated. That's the way, kids! And we all know you've got the private-life stuff down, pat. That's not what we're concerned about.

And as much as we hope for more Robsten PDA in the coming year, we also wish for Rob to make a stand about a more serious issue, the mistreatment of his WFE lovable elephant co-star, Tai.

At some point, Rob should step up and say that animal cruelty is wrong, especially what we witnessed in this video showing how Tai was trained to do circus tricks prior to joining the WFE cast.

A cast, nonetheless, we are thrilled Rob was a part of. As thankful as we all are for Twilight launching his career, it's time for the actor to move on to some more challenging, adult roles. Jacob Jankowski was a brilliant first step in the right career direction. We always knew R.Pattz had this one in him. Never doubted, unlike the naysayers.

Bravo, Rob-o, on a fabulous 25 years lived!

Good thing K.Stew just turned 21, now we can all cheers to you!
