Us News: Hottest People's Choice Awards Style--Kristen Mentioned! "She just takes it, she commands it"

Who were the best dressed stars at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards? Us Weekly fashion director Sasha Charnin Morrison gives her picks for who wowed on the red carpet. Her top-rated looks included Kristen Stewart, who stayed on trend in a sparkly Reem Acra number.

"When she shows up at an awards show, she commands [attention]," Morrison says of Stewart. "There's something direct, iconic, fierce [about her] -- and you just want to be her friend, because she's just so unbelievably cool!"

Absolutely. She's got some presence!

Robert Pattinson on List of the "World's Best Dressed Men"

The heart-throb of the nation (okay, world) has been gracing the Hollywood scene in his signature tousled hair and effortless British style. The self-proclaimed shy star is not reserved when it comes to fashion. This merlot suit has a retro vibe and is our favorite Robert Pattinson style to date.

At last night's People's Choice Awards, there weren't many surprises—Taylor Swift won for favorite country singer, Johnny Depp confirmed his continued "It" status, and the Twilight cast reigned supreme. There wasn't much unexpected happening in the hair and makeup departments, either, with lots of neutral makeup, dark pedicures, and overdone spray tans. But there were three stars who really wowed us:

Maggie Q. She may not have been up for an award for her show Nikita, but this sexy, ass-kicking actress had the best hair of the night, hands down. Almost always seen with a sleek blowout, she left her hair curly, keeping the spirals tight, shiny, and a little tousled for that bed-head vibe. They perfectly balanced her flirty, feathery lashes and soft pink lips.

Minka Kelly. The Friday Night Lights and Parenthood actress shined—literally—with shimmery makeup and a gorgeously glossy soft updo. Her iridescent pink blush downright glowed, and her pearly, champagne-colored shadow made her brown eyes sparkle.

Kristen Stewart. We were pleased to see the Twilight ingenue, notorious for her "devil may care" attitude, looking polished—and happy! Her hair was voluminous and loosely curled, and her makeup—more than we're used to seeing her wear—was sultry and sophisticated, with iridescent gray shadow and rosy mauve blush and lipstick.

Colin Farrell wishes Rob good luck on his new movie, "Cosmopolis"

Earlier this week, Robert Pattinson fans rejoiced at the news that their "Twilight" hunk will continue to appear on the big screen after "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" is released in 2012.

Pattinson's first post-"Twilight" movie will be "Cosmopolis," an adaptation of the novel by Don DeLillo, to be directed by David Cronenberg.

Pattinson will play "financial wunderkind" Eric Packer, who risks his entire fortune to bet against Japan's yen on a tumultuous day. The character's chancy move puts him in mortal danger. The flick is said to be "a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis."

While fans are happy about Pattinson's new project, the role initially went out to Colin Farrell. MTV News caught up with Farrell recently while he promoted his upcoming drama "The Way Back," a film set during World War II about a group of prisoners who escape the Siberian Gulag and must walk over 4,000 miles to freedom. Farrell said he didn't end up doing "Cosmopolis" due to timing and scheduling issues "for everyone involved."

"Myself and David [Cronenberg], we had good conversations between he and I," Farrell said. "I would love to work with him at some stage, I really would. I really wanted to do that [film]."

And what does he think of Pattinson replacing him?

"It's a wonderful script. I wish him all the luck in the world with it," he said.

'WFE' one of CNN's Ten films to look forward to this year

(CNN) -- The first rule for any critic must be: Keep an open mind. The second rule: Hope for the best.

Still, we're only human, and while all films may be equal until you actually experience them, as George Orwell put it, some are more equal than others.

It's hard, for instance, to work up a whole lot of enthusiasm to see Nicolas Cage battle demons in the Dark Ages in "Season of the Witch," when you suspect he's miscast and in it only for the money, and you know the movie's been kicking around for months. (Having seen it, I can assure you it's every bit as grim as it looks.)

The truth is, you hope for pleasant surprises, but you pin your trust in the filmmakers who have impressed you in the past. This year, there may be dozens of terrific films coming down the pipeline, but these are the 10 prospects that really float my boat.

They are listed in order of release. And to keep things fair, I haven't included anything I've already seen (though I'm certainly looking forward to second viewings of Errol Morris' tragic-comic documentary "Tabloid," the Korean art film "Poetry," and Juliette Binoche in the teasingly ambiguous "Certified Copy").

"Water for Elephants" (April 22)

"I Am Legend" director Francis Lawrence aims to capture the magic in Sara Gruen's best-seller about a traveling circus. Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson put on the show, while Richard ("Fisher King") LaGravenese wrote the script that convinced "Inglourious Basterds" discovery Christoph Waltz that this was a better way to go than David Cronenberg's next picture.

OTR is one of The Playlist’s 100 Most Anticipated Films Of 2011 - Part 1

On The Road” - TBD - dir. Walter Salles
Synopsis:  An adaptation of the iconic Beat Generation novel which follows Dean Moriarty and Sal Paradise on a journey across the North American landscape in pursuit of self-knowledge and experience.
What You Need To Know: After years in development hell, Jack Kerouac’s iconic novel finally gets the big screen treatment courtesy of the major team behind 2004 Che Guevara road film “The Motorcycle Diaries,” including director Walter Salles, writer Jose Rivera, DP Eric Gautier, production designer Carlos Conti and composer Gustavo Santaolalla. Filling out the lead roles of Moriarty and Paradise—surrogates for Neal Cassady and Kerouac himself—are the rising duo Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley. They are joined by an illustrious supporting cast which boasts the likes of Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard, Alice Braga and Elisabeth Moss. Early B&W photography from the production possibly hints at the film’s aesthetic style, a notion Salles has previously described as a must for any adaptation of Kerouac’s novel.
Release Date: Fall (we assume anyhow)

Coen Brothers and Spike Jonze regular collaborator Carter Burwell is set to return to the ‘Twilight’ since working on the first film to perform scoring duties for the final installment of the series, the two parter “Twilight: Breaking Dawn.”

The two parts will be shot as one project and will then be respectively released on November 18th, 2011 and November 16th, 2012. And in case you haven’t do so already, check out Burwell’s score for “True Grit,” it’s ace.

Kristen Stewart, Worst Actress of 2010? Huh?

As of now, Kristen is leading for the Worst Actress of 2010 in the Nominations for the Razzie Awards. But we don't want her to win that thing, so let's help her then.
The only way to do is to vote those people, lower than her percentage.
And we'll just have to wait and see if we can do it.

Kristen & Rob on Forbes "Hollywood's Top-Grossing On-Screen Couples" list

Rounding out the top five are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movies. While romance might take a backseat to action in many of the movies on our list, it's the driving force in the Twilight films. It doesn't hurt that Pattinson and Stewart are also a couple in real life. So far the movies have earned $1.8 billion at the global box office. The last book, Breaking Dawn, has been divided into two movies. The first will hit theaters this coming November.
