Mackenzie Bonding with Rob and Kristen, fan girling over Mily, word pronounciation with Rob and more

A few days ago we posted some “Exclusive Breaking Dawn On Set Info”

and now, we have a few more On-set details about Mackenzie and the BD cast *thanks again to our amazing on-set source. Thank you Thank you Thank you, we love you*

” I just love the way Mackenzie lights up the room. If it’s been a long day and everyone’s tired, she shows up and you can tell the atmosphere changes.

The fam scenes with Robert and Kristen will look amazing on screen. They have a special connection, you know. She looks so much like them and they enjoy working with her, so that makes it easy. They love joking around between takes. Specially with Robert, he loves using the ‘daughter’ thingy. I’ve heard he’s been teaching Mackenzie some words, with the accent and everything, so funny.

Kristen has found someone to share her ‘Miley Cyrus’ obsession with. And they both love pets, so they have a lot to talk about. Cuteness everywhere. But everybody loves her, she’s pretty smart for her age. It’s good to have a kiddo on set.”

Thank you for sharing girls:) and omg is this cute or what??

GossipCop bashes the Newest of HL's crap: Robert Pattinson article is "diss"-grace

Robert Pattinson’s nice words about his new movie Water for Elephants have somehow been turned against him by – surprise! – HollywoodLife.

The experts in exaggeration twist what Pattinson recently told MTV about the experience of doing the highly anticipated book adaptation with Reese Witherspoon.

Water for Elephants “definitely felt like I was doing a big movie when I was doing it and it felt totally different from doing something within the Twilight world,” said Pattinson, explaining, “Because now it just seems so familiar, the Twilight stuff.”

“It’s just like going to a normal job,” observed Pattinson of the vampire series.
Sounds about right, yes?

The actor clearly means that wrapping up his time as Edward Cullen with Breaking Dawn feels “normal” in that he’s so familiar with the role and comfortable with the process.

After all, Pattinson’s rise to stardom parallels the Twilight series’ rapid pop cultural explosion.
Pattinson is not saying that Twilight is some kind of humdrum cubicle gig he can barely stand.
Instead of treating the star’s remarks in the spirit they were intended, however, HollywoodLife opts for controversy, wondering whether they constituted a “diss” of Kristen Stewart.

“These comments must hurt the actress,” declares HollywoodLife.

Why?

Why does every utterance of flattery need to be an insult at the same time? Why can’t Pattinson love the camaraderie and comfort of his signature Twilight “job,” and also love the new challenges of Water for Elephants? Why does it have to be either/or?

The answer is that HollywoodLife needs to create an angle, pitting Stewart against Witherspoon, movie against movie, and Pattinson against the Twilight franchise.

HollywoodLife just continues to “diss” its readers with insulting stories like this one.

Shame on you Hollywood Life, There's no love for you anymore on this blog:)

Welcome to the Rileys Blu-ray Review

Welcome to the Rileys [Blu-ray]

The Film
Bored husband goes to New Orleans on business and decides to stay when he takes up the project of a local stripper, restores relationship with wife. A strange relationship triangle evolves in Welcome to the Rileys that is interesting to watch, though the film never completely draws you in.
This Indianapolis couple, Doug (James Gandolfini) and Lois (Melissa Leo), have drifted apart after the death of their 16-year-old daughter a few years back. Lois never leaves the house, not even to walk to the curb to check the mail, and copes with life by taking a handful of pills each day. Doug settles into his weekly routine of Thursday night poker with the guys followed by waffles at the Pancake House and a romp in bed with the waitress, his mistress.
Doug travels to a convention in New Orleans and decides to stay after he meets 16-year-old Mallory/Allison (Kristen Stewart), a damaged stripper. As he tries to fix her life, Lois ventures out of the house and down to New Orleans, and so the situation becomes a trio. You can tell there are two ways to go here. The Rileys take in Allison as their daughter; or the Rileys go home a changed couple while stripper Mallory grows up just a little. Tune in to see how it goes.
Get another welcome look at the movie Welcome to the Rileys in Beth McCabe's review.
The Picture
The look changes just slightly between Indianapolis and New Orleans. The latter takes on a bluish cast to the soft, washed out look of the film. The 1.85:1 transfer shows New Orleans in gritty detail. Back alleys, side streets and strip clubs are in full view and the film doesn't hide those aspects, but looks to show them off. Allison's house is the most deteriorated on the block and still displays spray paint markings from Katrina, which in this film happened roughly five years before.

The Sound
In this film the 5.1 channel DTS HD Master Audio sound puts dialog in the right places. It doesn't manage as well to fill the gaps with the immersive sounds of New Orleans. The filmmakers made a point of filming on location to capture the real city, yet in only a few scenes does music that characterizes New Orleans play. You may expect the sounds of jazz, chaos, traffic, washing machines at a laundromat, yet you won't find them. A scene in an upscale New Orleans hotel lobby makes it seem easy to hear a phone conversation or even a pin drop. Yet in the "making of" feature -- an interview with the director -- there's an abundance of ambient chatter and noise that you might have expected in the scene.
The Extras
The background "Creating the Rileys" features interviews with the cast and crew. It discusses the settings, filming in New Orleans, and the dialog coach who taught Gandolfini and Leo to speak with a heavy drawl typical of Indianapolis. Though it sounded, at times, more fitting for the New Orleans local. The disc has an added special feature: a firmware upgrade that gives your Blu-ray player the ability to broadcast some 3D content, if your set will support it.
Final Thoughts
While the story told is compelling enough, a certain degree of character development is lacking here. You see characters like Ally Sheedy for a moment just to establish that her sister Lois won't leave the house, then she's out of the picture. The depth of the underlying story is never quite matched by the depth of the movie itself. A worthwhile rental, but perhaps not one for the permanent collection.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and More Play Muse to Artist Richard Phillips

You may be familiar with the work of New York-based contemporary artist Richard Phillips, whose pieces served as props in the Van der Woodsen loft on Gossip Girl. But in his latest exhibit, familiarity is the focus: the artist has chosen some of the world's most recognizable faces, including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more, for his new series of large-scale, traditional oil paintings. The exhibition, called "Most Wanted," opens this Friday at the White Cube gallery in Hoxton Square, London.

Phillips's lineup of superstars from television, movies, and music are depicted against backdrops featuring the logos of luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and more, mimicking the "step and repeat" backdrops at red carpet events like film premieres and award shows. A halo around each famous face is meant to emphasize "electric stardom of these secular deities while simultaneously flattening their image, melding them into the brands they represent, as if on a decal or trading card." It's also Phillips hope that mass audiences who are out of touch with the high art world will find an immediate connection with the paintings, making yet another statement about the power of celebrity branding.
