Don’t know the difference between Team Edward and Team Jacob? Never fear. For latecomers to Twilight mania, USA TODAY’s Susan Wloszczyna offers a few quick facts about the three stars of the movie series that continues with the arrival of Eclipse June 30.
Taylor Lautner, 18

Notable feature: Abs of steel
Acting experience: Began on TV at age 9. Played Sharkboy in the 2005 family fantasy The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D.
Twilightrole: Jacob Black, Native American blue-collar werewolf with anger issues who pines for best pal Bella.
Eclipsedilemma: Can he persuade Bella to return his love and not join the undead?
Kristen Stewart, 20
Birthplace: Los Angeles
Notable feature: Tends to not smile much in public.
Acting experience: Began with non-speaking movie part at age 8. Was Jodie Foster’s daughter in the 2002 thriller Panic Room.
Twilightrole: Bella Swan, a smart, pretty, yet awkward high schooler who finds herself attracted to guys who exhibit supernatural tendencies.
Eclipsedilemma: Wants to spend eternity with Edward by becoming a vampire but is not as certain about marriage.
Robert Pattinson, 24
Notable feature: Messy hair
Acting experience: Ex-model first performed before cameras in 2004. Played Cedric Diggory in 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Twilight role: Edward Cullen, gorgeous yet tortured teen vampire who is actually more than a century old, sparkles in the sun and feeds only on the blood of animals.
Eclipsedilemma: Wants to wed Bella, but is torn about ending her human life and changing her into a vampire.
